Originally from Spartanburg SC, Joshua moved to Union County in elementary school and has been working in Union County since he was 16 years old. Joshua decided to pursue real estate in 2014 and with his incredible knowledge of Union County and its people, Joshua was able to make many connections. In March of 2020 Joshua partnered up with another agent, Alicia Love, and they have built one of the top producing firms in Union County, Southland Homes & Realty.

Joshua is married to Misty and they have 2 beautiful daughters. When Joshua is not working hard for his clients or the firm, he enjoys watching college football, being on the lake and American Muscle Cars.

Alicia was born and raised in Union County, where she is now one of the top producing agents. Alicia is married to her high school sweet heart, Justin. They have 4 beautiful children and currently live in Northern Union County. Alicia’s passion for the real estate industry led her to partner up with another agent, Joshua Caruso, and start Southland Homes & Realty in March of 2020.

Outside of real estate, Alicia has incredible passion for her family. She thrives on sunshine and warm weather. On the weekends you will find her on the lake, working in her yard, or anything pertaining to the outdoors. Alejandro was born and raised in Southern California before he moved to Nevada. After seven years in Nevada, he found his home in North Carolina. Graduating from Piedmont in 2014, he began working at a local Mexican restaurant for a few years meeting many of the locals, including Alicia! Finally in late 2021, Alejandro decided to get his Real Estate License to help his friends and the locals he met to find the home of their dreams! Carissa is a union county native and loves her hometown of Unionville. She is young, energetic and thrives to work hard! She graduated high school in 2018 and began working for a small business shortly after. After four years of working she decided to start her career in real estate. She has always had a passion for becoming a real estate agent and is now following her dreams! Elizabeth was born in Wilmigton, NC and grew up in Mint Hill, NC. She moved to Union County in 2000 with her husband Jason. Elizabeth and Jason have 3 wonderful children and love to go on family vacations together. Her previous work experience has been in Healthcare for 25 years and exceeded the “standards of excellence” by communicating and developing relationships with her co-workers and surgeons. Elizabeth has a great relationship with people and will go out of her way to help anyone.

Elizabeth decided to take a different approach to her career in 2022 to pursue Real Estate. Julie Broadway is a native of Stanly County where she attended Albemarle High. She also attended Wingate University where she graduated in 1996. Julie is married to her husband Kevin, and has two children. Julie is a lover of all sports and enjoys watching her kids on the field. Julie is very family oriented and takes extreme pride in her husband and kids. Being native to the area, Julie is very familiar to her surroundings and is licensed in both North and South Carolina.

Laura grew up in York County, having moved to York, SC for elementary school and graduating from York Comprehensive High School. Laura pursued an education from Clemson University in Mechanical Engineering and worked in the industry for 6 years, exploring the big city of Houston, TX. Deep down Carolina was always calling her home and now she’s ready to use that passion for the area to serve you! Being an engineer, she has great negotiation, organization, and communication skills. Those skills combine with an outgoing, friendly, and caring personality to provide top notch client service! Laura is married to her best friend and high school sweetheart, Jacob Ramsey. Michelle along with her husband David and their four sons enjoy life on a hobby farm in Union County just outside of the Monroe city limits. She enjoys grooming and showing dogs and has travelled the country as a Professional Dog Handler. Michelle is actively involved in her boy’s school and loves attending their numerous sport activities.

Savannah is a Union County native and is excited to serve her community as a local agent. Graduating from Piedmont High school in 2019, she decided to continue education at South Piedmont Community College until realizing it just wasn’t for her. After lots of research and work she found Real Estate was perfect for her. The idea of helping people in the community find their perfect home and supporting them as they continue in life’s journey became a dream. Her dream became reality in 2022 when she earned her Real Estate License and began the career of her dreams. Shannon was born in the Charlotte area and raised in Weddington. She currently resides in Waxhaw NC where she works her at-home crafting business. Her previous work experience has been in dance and performing arts around Charlotte, child residential counseling, Jeep service, and working the home Carolina Panthers games back in 2015! She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is certified in Victim Advocacy from Auburn University. Her passion, however, lies in following her late grandfathers footsteps in Real Estate and investments. She is the mother of boy/girl preemie twins and the wife to an Army veteran and local firefighter. Shannon takes pride in helping people and creating relationships everywhere she goes. Her personality doesn’t know a stranger! She your typical Carolina Girl in and out and knows so much about the city and surrounding areas. Shannon loves all things outdoors, spending time with her family, and anything around the water! Sommer is a Union County native with a passion for serving others. Sommer and her husband Matt are parents to three daughters and live on a family farm in Marshville, NC.
